JOSE CAMPA

President

Jose Campa proudly serves as the President of the board of directors for OVBA. He enjoys traveling and exploring new places, watching sports with his son Nate, coaching youth football, and being active. His love of sports began at a young age, teaching him the essence of hard work and dedication.

Jose’s vision is to provide opportunities and quality skills for youth seeking to excel in the sport of basketball through great leadership, discipline, and structure. OVBA has become another source to serve his community and the members in it. His commitment is for athletes, families, and coaches to grasp their importance and belonging in OVBA all while having fun together.

TRAVIS WILLIAMS
Admin, Communications, Coach

A lifelong Tar Heels fan and former high school player, Travis exudes the love of the game. At OVBA, Travis' role is that of a swiss army knife.  He has mad people skillz as a coach, a recruiter, a marketer, and brings a passion to help connect those families looking for a great youth basketball experience in Oro Valley.  Travis is a professional photographer, used to teach SCUBA Diving and enjoys blowing off stress playing FORTNITE in a squad with his son!

JOSH KOLLASCH

Athletic Director

Head Coach

Coach Josh grew up in Tucson, AZ and played 4 years of varsity basketball at Sabino High School.   He also played college basketball 4 years of college and then went on to play professionally in Australia.  He has been coaching for 4 years, and loves working with kids and see them progress in all aspects of life, both on the court and off. His goal and dream is to build one of the most successful clubs in the state, being able to compete at the highest levels and have a ton of fun doing it!

RACHEL MANNING

Treasurer

Operations

Rachel grew up playing basketball and instilled the love of the game in her boys.  She has coached youth teams and is thrilled to be able to be a part of bringing club basketball to Northwest Tucson.

MALIK BAUMGARDNER
Coach

Coach Malik was born and raised in Newark & Montclair New Jersey and was a 3-year varsity player for Montclair high school. He also played big time prep basketball as a 5th year senior at collegiate prep in Patterson NJ and Lutheran Christian academy of Philadelphia. From there Coach Malik has been on a few different college basketball rosters Pima community college of Tucson Az, Ocean County College, and Passiac County. He’s been officially coaching a year and half and his whole focus is to make every player the best student-athlete possible, by teaching hard work, dedication, communication, perseverance, and teamwork.

RYON RODRIGUEZ

Coach

Coach Ryon brings 20 years of experience including winning the City Championship in 8th grade and being the runner-up team in the AZ State tournament that year. Playing Varsity at Catalina Magnet High School and lead the team in rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks. His junior year he ranked one of the Top 20 juniors and seniors in Tucson.. By the senior season I was ranked in the top 50 players in the state of Arizona. Ryon received an academic scholarship to the University of Arizona and continues to play basketball in men’s leagues around town. When not coaching he loves to travel stateside and abroad.
